To better connect the client to the existing environmental context, the poolside elevation at Glencairn Garden opens completely to the swimming pool and contains a living room with a full kitchen and double-sided fireplace. The rehabilitated pool preserves the qualities of the original context, while respectfully upgrading it to serve as a contemporary addition to the residence.
